Joint Session of the Steering Committees of the PCRSS and MALIDENKO Projects

This Monday, November 24, 2025, the Minister of Reconciliation, Peace and National Cohesion, Army Corps General Ismaël WAGUE, chaired a joint session bringing together both the 7th session of the Steering Committee of the Sahel Recovery and Stabilization Project (PCRSS) and the 2nd session of the MALIDENKO Project. This meeting enabled members of both Committees to review the progress of activities, share concrete results achieved in the field, and strengthen the partnership dynamic that supports the implementation of these strategic projects for our country. The progress recorded confirms the relevance of the Community-Led Development (DCC) approach: a participatory process that promotes local ownership, guarantees transparency in resource management, encourages the inclusion of all stakeholders and contributes to consolidating social cohesion in the intervention areas. At the end of the proceedings, COP members commended the leadership of the Minister of Reconciliation and encouraged the PCRSS and MALIDENKO teams to maintain the momentum, in order to respond ever better to the priority needs expressed by communities.
